Cleaning Checklist

Clean the pavilion and property thoroughly and leave them in the same undamaged condition to secure the refund of your security deposit. Follow this cleaning checklist to make sure you have accurately cleaned all spaces. You must leave the property in the same clean, undamaged condition as when you arrived.

Furthermore, any checklist items not completed, areas not cleaned, or any damage incurred will result in the loss of your security deposit, or you may be assessed a $300.00 cleaning fee. The renter will be responsible for any damages or cleaning fees above the cleaning fee or security deposit.

Decorations

  • Remove or throw away all decorations and attachments, including staples and tacks.

Props

  • Clean all Rural Hill Farm props and place them back properly in the Prop Room in their designated locations.

Trash

  • Bag and remove all garbage from cans and place in designated area.
  • Break down boxes and place them in trash bags.
  • Place all trash bags together behind the pavilion.
  • Pour out all liquid before placing containers in the trash.

Furnishings: Tables/Chairs/Bar stools

  • Completely wiped down and cleaned, including seats, backs, and legs
  • Returned to store room – tables/chairs replaced on racks and smaller tables in their proper locations

Pavilion Area

  • Sweep the floor of trash and debris and place them in trash bags.
  • Trash should not be swept onto the grounds.
  • All spills are to be cleaned up, including food and beverage spills.
  • Wipe down the bar area.

Supply Room

  • Remove all trash/debris
  • Sweep floor
  • Return racks of tables/chairs to storage

Kitchen area

  • Remove any items in the kitchen area, including the refrigerator and freezer.
  • Wipe down the inside of the sinks and countertops.
  • Clean any appliances used.
  • Sweep floors and mop up all spills.

Brides Room/Grooms Room/Dining Room/Guest Restrooms

  • Remove all trash/debris
  • Empty trash cans
  • Wipe down countertops and surface areas, removing all spills
  • Wipe down the dining room table and sweep the floor
  • Place used towels in the shower
  • Return futons to the upright position and leave used linens on the futon
  • Sweep floors and mop any spills

Public Use Areas: Pavilion Perimeter/Property/Pond

  • Inspect the grounds and collect any trash you find.
    Trash includes cigarette butts, decorations, bottles, etc.
  • All trash must be picked up and disposed of properly.
